Wrangler Shaved Beef Sandwiches are the ideal solution for busy work and school nights. The hearty sandwiches are not only filling, but they’re also super easy and quick to make. To mix things up, add spicy peppers or mushrooms. This take on the old Philly cheesesteak sandwich pairs well with chips, slaw, and salads. Makes two sandwiches.
Ingredients
14 oz shaved beef
¼ cup sliced onion
¼ cup sliced green bell peppers
¼ cup sliced red bell peppers
Cheese dip or provolone slices
1 tsp. coarse steak seasoning
Olive oil
French bread, sliced and slightly hollowed out
Directions
Drizzle skillet with olive oil. Once hot, add onion and peppers. Sauté until onions are slightly translucent.
Add beef and steak seasoning to the vegetables and cook just until done. Shaved beef is very thin and cooks quickly, so watch it closely.
Slice French bread and hollow it out to make a channel for the steak. Lightly spray with olive oil and toast under the broiler.
Place a layer of beef mixture on the bread and add a liberal amount of cheese, followed by another beef layer. Top and serve.
